This cozy, gluten-free slow cooker dish combines green beans, potatoes, and smoked turkey sausage for a hearty, one-pot meal that’s full of flavor and comfort. Inspired by the ham version my mom made growing up, I love using Eckrich skinless turkey sausage for a lighter twist. It’s simple, satisfying, and perfect for busy days.

This simple, soul-warming dish takes me straight back to my childhood. My mom made a version of this with ham, and it was one of those meals that filled the house with comforting aromas and brought everyone to the table. These days, I make my own twist—using Eckrich Skinless Turkey Smoked Sausage for a leaner, gluten-free option that’s just as delicious.

How We Serve It
This meal is a full plate on its own, but I sometimes add a slice of gluten-free cornbread, GF cheddar biscuits, or a green salad on the side. The leftovers are even better the next day—if there are any!

Large Slow Cooker
Adjust the amounts of green beans, potatoes, and smoked sausage to fit your slow cooker. I use a large slow cooker.

Add diced onions, sliced smoked turkey sausage, canned new potatoes, and green beans to the slow cooker.

Add salt and pepper, stir well. Cook on low 6-8 hours.

Serve with your favorite gluten-free dinner rolls, GF Red Lobster Cheddar biscuits, or GF garlic bread.
